Our White Rose Award

We won the White Rose Award in 2005 for the best small visitor attraction. Organised by the Yorkshire Tourist Board and independently judged, this is a prestigious award and great recognition for the Museum and everything we do.

And to put the icing on the cake, we also won the similar Scarborough Borough award.

We have not rested on our laurels, and again in 2008 we were finalists for the best small visitor attraction.

In 2008 we received full Accreditation in the current round from the Museums Libraries and Archives Council.

We are also VAQAS inspected and have had extremely positive and helpful reports from them over the past five years.
